review: Behesians by Isaiyan morrison

Behesians by Isaiyan Morrison

5 keep reading even though you don't want to stars

I got this book from book sirens in exchange for an honest review... I have to say I did struggle to finish this book, and I am glad I did because it really was a good read. I did not read any other books in this series. I have to say I think this book would have been better if it didn't follow so many people. I was really hard to follow and the character where really dry so it felt like when it switched people that it was the same people. I was so confused that it took me a long time to figure out what I was reading. Cassidy is a teenager and lived her life thinking she killed her mother during child birth. She lived with her sister and father. She liked to be by herself and didn't care that she didn't have any friends. Her father worked a lot, so she spent a lot of time with her sister. It will be on her birthday when everything changes. Her sister took her to the coffee shop because her dad told her to try the new coffee that was out. When they were getting coffee 2 guys came over and started talking to Cassidy. She was intrigued with the one and he ended up lighting his coffee cup on fire. Her sister said it was a fluke accident, but Cassidy could not let it go. That same guy was on her door step a couple days later. his name is Elijah. He gave her a journal and told her that she has dark magic inside of her. She didn't believe him till a bunch of weird things started happening. She then will find out that her dad has been lying to her and that everything she has every known is know a lie.
