review: Wicked Innocence by Missy Johnson

I got this book from the author in exchange for an honest review....


this story follows 2 POV's. first off is a girl named Micah. She was 14 years old when she ran away from home. she made a shady deal with a creepy man and got a new identity. she was 18 and now living on her own. got herself a place and a new job. Now 3 years later she is going to get the job of her life...hopefully.. she is trying out to be a lead singer in a indie band who is about be become huge. she was able to get a second try after embarassing her herself and now all she can do is pray..



Saxon is 25 and used to be a huge rock star. He couldn't handle the pressure of being young and having it all so girls, drugs, and rock and roll had its toll. he was now going to change is ways and start fresh. he was managing his cousins band and had high hopes that they can make it to the big leagues. He never had a relationship and had never planned on it. He has a dark past that he has to re-live everyday and not a day goes by where he doesn't try to fix it. Now, one look at this girl and he was smitten. He couldn't act on it because that would ruin everything....

Micah got her dream job and now is on tour with her band. They are trying to land that big gig. everything is changing so fast. She is falling her her boss Saxon. She is afraid that he will find out her past and then everything will be ruined. He already drilled her about her license and making copies of all her paperwork to make sure she is legit. now, things are starting to heat up and she knows that she cannot keeps things from him. Everything was going great until Saxon brought Micah to his center for troubled kids and she met someone in her past...



now everything is now out in the open and Saxon doesn't know what to do. does he make cut the band after all they been through and after they got offered the deal of a lifetime? Also, he is now banging an underage girl. will he go to jail? Can Micah fix things before it is too late??!!!!
