5 out of 5 stars
i got this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review
this
was a great book. I have to warn all my friends. if you are not into
the mushy romance book, then this book is not for you. there is a little
bit of smut, but it takes awhile for the hot scene to get there.
Carrie
did not like Christmas. in fact, right after Halloween she started to
change her mood. She told her friends that she always had plans for all
the holiday work parties. she didn't have to worry about family because
her father was dead, and her mom moved to Florida and she hasn't spoken
to her in a while.
Carrie had a huge crush on her high school
friend. he tutored him in math, but he was always drooling over the
pretty cheerleader who wouldn't give him the time of day. well, the one
day she goes to work not wearing makeup and looking a little rough he
decides to come back to town. he has a great job in California being a
sports agent. he is all over the tv and was noticed to be a great
bachelor. Nick Johnson was still looking just a good as he did when he
was in high school.
nick had to see Carrie again. he loved how
she filled out after all these years. he couldn't believe he didn't
notice how pretty she was when they were in high school. he found out
that she didn't like Christmas, and it was his goal for her to love it.
nick
started a bet with Carrie about getting her to like Christmas. while he
was taking her on all his family outings that was their routine for
holiday season, their relationship started to bud. Carrie that her life
couldn't get any better until her mother showed up.
Carrie is
going to have to face her past, and deal with lose ends or she will lose
nick forever. Nick also has to understand Carrie's past, and understand
that everyone didn't have a good childhood like him.
Nick's
previous high school crush will come back in the picture and give you
the biggest laugh yet! all in all this was a great holiday book
