review: Violet is blue

Violet is Blue by Tawny Stokes    3 stars

I got this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review..

this is a quick read, but it went everywhere. I was like...can you stick to one topic so i can follow please...thanks!

Violet is a senior, and all her best friends also have flower names. She finally is able to deal with her father's death. her therapist taught her to go for a run and channel all her sadness. this actually worked for her. She was able to go for a run everyday and then visit her fathers grave.
Her mother has re-married to a guy who worked with Violet's father. He is younger, but made it clear that he wants to be violet's friend, not her father. She had a good relationship with her parents, and can tell them anything... that is until she is getting stalked.

Violet just broke up with her boyfriend. He was the captain of the football team, and an all American boy. everyone loved him, and couldn't see why violet would break up with him. Sleeping with the school's slut is grounds for any break up... Her now ex-boyfriend cannot accept that they are over and starts to get a little aggressive. Who saves the day, but an old friend who is now a freak. he is covered in tattoos and piercings and has an I don't care attitude. This old friend tells Violet that she is pretty and could rock her world. This actually turns violet on.

that is until she gets poems, flowers, and weird from calls from a man with a sexy deep voice. At first Violet plays this game because her and all her friends are trying to figure out who is secret guy is. That is until it gets scary. He has been in her room while she sleeps, he knows what she is doing at all times. Right when she thinks she has it figured out something happens and she has to change her thought process.

Will violet find out who her stalker is before it is too late and someone dies? will she fall for the freak even after he saved her life? will Violet's ex boyfriend sweet talk her into going back to the way things used to be? everything changes with just one phone call..
